Art on ’R Mountain
2011 ARTIST APPLICATION GUIDELINES
On April 2, 2011, the East Lake Arts District in association with the Ruffner Mountain Nature Center will transform the Nature Center into our inaugural juried art show, Art on ’R Mountain.
Eligibility and Standards
• All artists 18 years of age or older may apply.
• All works must be original and created by the artist. No commercially manufactured items or kits or molds may be used.
• Artist collaborations may qualify if a single product is the result (Collaborations must be listed on application.)
• A jury selects the participating artists and can approve or refuse submitted works.
• Artists must be present and show their work throughout the entire event.
Application Instructions:
• Complete application.
• Enclose two checks for the jury fee and booth fee (include any fees for optional Canopy Package ($50)).
• Enclose a CD containing four .jpg images of work that represent the pieces to be sold during Art on ’R Mountain and list your name on the CD along with category.
• Enclose a self-address, stamped return envelope.
• Application deadline is January 31, 2011.
• Mail entire package to: Peg Holland, Chair
Art on ‘R Mountain
As required by law, all participants are required to collect and turn in state, county and city sales tax. Envelopes will be provided and taxes collected prior to end of show.
Notification letters will be mailed on February 15, 2011.

I hereby release the East Lake Arts District to use submitted slides of my work for the purpose of publicizing my art and the exhibition. |
